Stephanie A. Merri

Stephanie Merri, a partner in the firm, is a native Sacramentan. A product of the San Juan Unified School District (a Rio Americano High School grad), Ms. Merri attended undergraduate school at the University of California, Los Angeles. While studying to obtain her BA in psychology, she also worked part-time as a legal secretary for a firm specializing in employment law and civil litigation.

Upon graduating from UCLA in 1996, she returned to Sacramento to attend law school at the University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law. Ms. Merri began employment at the firm as a law clerk in 1997 after her first year at McGeorge, which lead to her being offered an associate position with the firm. Upon passing the July, 1999 California bar exam, she began practice as a workers’ compensation defense attorney with the firm.

When she is not practicing workers’ compensation insurance defense, Ms. Merri spends her time playing and traveling with her husband Mike and her two young daughters Samantha and Natalie.
